Moving Forward series highlights inspiring York grads

Forged during the first wave of the pandemic, the Moving Forward series out of the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS) is bringing five new episodes for the winter term.

As with previous iterations of this highly popular series, each Moving Forward webinar continues to highlight one or more of the following themes:

  • how students can move forward in their academic and career goals;
  • how communities and organizations are moving forward on issues of equity and social justice; and
  • how organizations are moving forward in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

All are welcome to attend, registration is required. All webinars will be followed by a question-and-answer session with panellists and presenters.

More about the Moving Forward series

In September 2020, LA&PS launched Moving Forward. It invited students, alumni, faculty, staff and other friends of York into meaningful conversations about how to “move forward” in uncertain times. The series has resonated strongly with the community, attracting hundreds of participants, and past webinar recordings continue to see engagement.
