The Schulich School of Business will launch a new live speaker series that will allow members of the community to engage with inspirational thought leaders and business pioneers on a wide range of issues – everything from leadership and sustainability to diversity and digital transformation.
Called the Dean’s Leadership Dialogues, the interactive series will feature Schulich Dean Detlev Zwick in a thoughtful and engaging fireside chat with some of the school’s most accomplished alumni and business leaders from around the world.
The first Dean’s Leadership Dialogue session will take place on March 1, and will feature Kim Parlee (IMBA ’95), vice-president, TD Wealth, and host of Moneytalk on BNN Bloomberg and CTV.
The theme of the inaugural dialogue session is “The Leader’s Compass: Vision and Values” and it will provide a forum for Parlee to share some of the insights and stories she has gleaned throughout a career during which she has conducted more than 15,000 interviews with CEOs and other leaders. It will take place at 7 p.m. in a virtual format. Information and registration are available online.
“The issue of leadership – and developing the business leaders of tomorrow – is a core part of our mission here at Schulich,” said Zwick. “The Dean’s Leadership Dialogues will provide a dynamic platform for Schulich faculty, students and alumni to engage with some of Canada’s top CEOs and other business leaders on the key issues reshaping business today.”
All of the Dean’s Leadership Dialogue sessions will also be recorded and available for viewing at a later date.
