Today, YFile has a new home. York University’s essential source of campus and institutional news – since 2002 – has moved to a new web address that better integrates with York U’s online ecosystem.
YFile has a new URL, and a set of new features to go along with it. As part of an effort to create a more consistent and user-friendly experience for readers, YFile has moved to yorku.ca/yfile.
What’s new
Readers will notice the new website offers a more prominent and user-friendly search bar to find either individual articles from the archives or articles sorted by category.
The new “Trending Topics” section will help YFile readers catch up on important content from across the York University, and the home page now makes it easier to find the most recent news relevant to the University community.
What’s still the same
Readers can still find all their favourite content from past issues. Everything that was published to YFile’s previous URL is now safely at home on the new website.
A note about bookmarks
Readers should update their bookmarked link to YFile’s home page and to individual articles they have saved.
