Schulich's Master of Marketing program ranked first in Canada

The Master of Marketing program at York University’s Schulich School of Business has ranked first in Canada, 11th in North America and 39th globally in the 2025 QS Business Master’s rankings.

The program also ranked 12th in the world in the category of Alumni Outcomes, which considers the extent to which the school’s graduates have gone on to pursue highly successful careers.

"We're pleased that our Master of Marketing program has been ranked number 1 in Canada for the second consecutive year and recognized as one of the top marketing degrees in North America,” said Schulich Dean Detlev Zwick. “This achievement highlights the exceptional quality of our program, driven by our world-class faculty and talented students. Most importantly, it reflects the remarkable career success of our graduates, who continue to make a significant impact in the marketing field."

To compile the ranking, QS surveyed 140 Master of Marketing programs in 28 countries around the world using a number of criteria, including employability, thought leadership, class and faculty diversity, value for money and alumni outcomes.

The Master of Marketing program isn't the only Schulich program to be recognized by the QS rankings. It follows the announcement that the school's Master of Supply Chain Management program was also ranked first in Canada and 17th in the world.
