Pat Murray, director of sport & recreation and a professor in York’s School of Kinesiology & Health Sciences, Faculty of Health, will be completing her second five-year term as director of sport & recreation on July 1, 2008.

“In accordance with the school’s governance policy, a search must be conducted after two consecutive terms of appointment of full-time faculty members to administrative positions and this applies to the position of director of sport & recreation,” said Robert Tiffin, York VP students.
“As a result, I will be initiating a search for a new director of sport & recreation at York. As part of the search, I will be conducting extensive consultations with members of Sport & Recreation and students,” said Tiffin.
More specific details about the position will be forthcoming in the near future.
