Libraries host an open house for graduate students

To welcome all new and returning graduate students, the York University Libraries have organized an informal open house on Tuesday, Sept. 9 from 11:30am to 1:30 pm, in the fourth floor Graduate Student Reading Room in the Scott Library on York’s Keele campus.

The event offers an opportunity for graduate students to meet subject librarians and learn more about existing and recently introduced library services. The University librarians will be there to provide information and to answer questions about library resources, workshops and how they can help with graduate student research. There will be an opportunity for students to try out some of the many interesting databases and learn about the University Libraries’ electronic resources. Coffee and sandwiches will be served.

For more information, contact Mark Robertson, associate University librarian at ext. 55601 or e-mail markr@yorku.ca.
