Joyce Henry, a long-serving and valued member of the York University community died suddenly on 
Monday, May 25 following a brief illness.

Most recently, Ms. Henry worked as a receptionist in the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS). Although Ms. Henry had been a part of the FGS team for just over a year, she was well known across the Keele campus, having worked in the departments of chemistry, computer science, facilities, financial services, admissions, political science, the Dean’s office in the Faculty of Arts, advancement services and psychology. During her 10 years at York, she completed her undergraduate degree in human resources management.
She is remembered by her colleagues for her bright smile and sunny personality.
