Walking in certain parts of the Keele campus is about to get a little harder before it gets easier – but the results will be worth waiting for. Facilities Development at York has the following message about construction work scheduled over the summer:
Work will begin this week on the continuation of the Campus Walk. This project will involve the installation of paving stones and landscape improvements in the general area between The Arboretum Lane Parkade (PS2) and the new Computer Science and Engineering Building.
For the duration of this work, which is expected to take the majority of the summer, there will be some disruption to the flow of pedestrian traffic as well as the temporary closing of some building entrances.
Where necessary the contractor doing the work will provide appropriate directions and safety measures to ensure the safety of the campus community.
Please direct any questions or concerns you may have regarding this work to John Vavra, project administrator, at ext. 60338, or e-mail Jvavra@fbo.yorku.ca or muddy@fbo.yorku.ca.
