Police investigate reported assault at Tatham Hall residence

The Toronto Police Service is investigating an incident that occurred at approximately 3pm on Sunday at the Tatham Hall residence of McLaughlin College, on York’s Keele campus.
 
At that time, it was reported to police that a male student had been the victim of an assault. The student was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Police are treating this as an altercation among individuals known to each other and do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the community as a result.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Toronto Police Service directly at 416-808-2222.

  • Reporting any suspicious persons or behaviour to York University Security Services at 416-736-5333.
