Wondering what your children can do this summer? York University has a great suggestion: Send them to the annual day camp sessions run by the York Youth Connection (YYC).

YYC Summer Day Camp is gearing up for this year’s sessions. Children, ages eight to 14, of faculty, staff and students, plus children from around the area, are invited to take part in several sessions offering a wide range of activities, beginning June 30.

YYC organizes everything from visual arts, theatre and music to games, sports and science, not to mention day trips, swimming and entertainment. In addition, campers ages 13 and 14 are invited to register for a leadership-training program.

Here are the session dates:

  • Session A: June 30 – July 11
  • Session B: July 14 – July 25
  • Session C: July 28 – August 8
  • Session D: August 11 – August 22

Registration for each two-week session is $200, and subsidies are available.

For additional information or to receive a registration form, call ext. 55669, visit the Web site at www.yorku.ca/yyc or send an e-mail to yyc@yorku.ca.
