York’s annual pension meeting will take place Friday, April 20, from 12:30 to 1:30pm, in the Senate Chamber, N940, Ross Building. University community members are encouraged to attend this important meeting.
Leona Fields, manager of the pension fund, will begin the presentation with information about the University’s Pension Fund performance in 2011. Terisa Ducharme, associate director, Pension & Benefits, will continue with an example of how the change to the non-reduction reserve will affect those retiring on or after January 1, 2013 on a money purchase pension.
A brief update on the pension plan discussions taking place between the University and its employee groups will be provided.
All active, deferred and retired plan members are welcome to attend. University community members are encouraged to submit topics that they would like to see covered in the presentations.
