Robbery reported near Osgoode Hall Law School

York Security Services and the Toronto Police Service are investigating a robbery that occurred on Thursday, Nov. 11 at around 11:30pm near the Osgoode Hall Law School building.

A York community member was approached by two male suspects, grabbed and then had his cell phone and MP3 player taken from him. The suspects, who both appeared drunk, then fled the area, leaving in a white sedan that was parked beside the Atkinson Building.

The Toronto Police Service describes the suspects as:  

Suspect 1: Male, 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10, early 20s, possibly East Indian, light skin, medium build, short black hair, moustache, wearing a grey hoodie.                    

Suspect 2: Male, 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10, early 20s, possibly East Indian, light skin, medium build, short hair.

York community members are reminded to always exercise personal safety by:

  • Being aware of your surroundings and the people around you.
  • Reporting any suspicious persons or behaviour to York Security Services.
