Flag lowered tomorrow for employee Glenna McArdle

Glenna McArdle, an employee in York’s Faculty of Education, died on Saturday, March 5, after a courageous battle with cancer. Ms. McArdle joined the Faculty in November 2001 as a records assistant in the Pre-Service Practicum Office.

Her sense of humour and quiet composure will be missed by all of her colleagues at York University. She was unfailingly polite and helpful to students and was a wonderful colleague.

As per her wishes, there will be no public service. She is survived by her partner Murray Ayers.

The York flag will be lowered to half-mast tomorrow in honour of Ms. McArdle.
