The Faculty of Science & Engineering’s science explorations and engineering explorations summer day camp programs are now accepting online registrations for the 2012 summer session. There is limited space available – register early and secure your spot!
Campers enjoy a variety of science and engineering themes
Science Explorations is back with a new curriculum designed to inspire and stimulate budding young scientists, aged 8 to 11. The camp offers a variety of innovative and captivating, science-themed, hands-on activities.
Engineering Explorations, the engineering-focused camp, will challenge older aspiring scientists, ages 11 to 14, with interactive activities using technology and simple machines. In both camps, in addition to the science and engineering activities, campers are exposed to York University labs and facilities.
New is year is the Natural Disasters Explorations, a new specialty science camp designed for ages 8 to 11 that explores natural disasters on earth and from space with themed days. The camp offers hands-on activities, simulation of natural disasters and building the world’s next disaster resistant structures.
This year, Science Explorations will be offered in two formats, as a one week or two week (A1 & A2 or B1 & B2) program:

*Due to Canada Day & Civic holiday, these two weeks are 4 days in length.
Engineering Explorations will be offered in two formats, as a one week or two week (E1 & E3) program:

The camp office is now open and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Campers will experience a full day of activities beginning at 9am and finishing at 4pm, five days a week. Extended supervision is provided free of charge to all campers from 8 to 9am and from 4 until 5pm. Additionally, limited subsidies for camp fees are also available, please inquire if interested.
