Second-year York psychology student Vanessa Hojda gained online stardom – and job offers – after an embarrassing mix-up. Hojda was thrust into the limelight after she accidentally e-mailed a picture of the American actor Nicolas Cage to a job posting rather than her resumé. Using the power of social media, Hojda made the best of the error by blogging about it. Accused in York attacks appears in court
The suspect in four sexual assaults that took place on York University’s Keele campus made a brief court appearance on Wednesday. The accused, 20-year-old Oshane Leach, was charged with three counts of sexual assault, two counts of criminal harassment and two counts of assault after four women reported being assaulted last Thursday, reported 24 Hours Toronto and others, July 11.
