Congratulations go to Jeremy Greenberg, coordinator of student alumni programs, for being named the Outstanding Student Leader for 2003. He has just returned from Nashville, Tenn., where the news was announced at the CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) Association of Student Advancement Programs (ASAP) conference.

The award was given for Greenberg’s leadership of York is U. According to CASE, this is the most prestigious award they give out through ASAP.

As last year’s Chair of York is U, Greenberg is the person who really put the oomph into the York is U team in the 2002-2003 academic year, motivating the “action teams” to promote York to students, staff, faculty and alumni. He guided his fellow volunteers through such major events as Orientation, YorkFest, Homecoming, Multicultural Week and York’s 44th birthday.
