York’s Security Services is raising money all this month as part of Movember and Sons Canada, which will go towards men’s health initiatives.
The Security Services team now has some 20 members who are growing moustaches. The team has now raised more than $1,500 funds toward its goal of $2,000.
“I am optimistic we can achieve our goal because I have a really great and dedicated team behind me,” says Security Supervisor Paul Beniot of York’s Campus Services & Business Operations and captain of the Security Services Movember team. “My team and I aim to promote awareness of men’s health programs and provide support for individuals and their families that are or have been affected by cancer or other serious illnesses.”
