Starting this evening, York University and the United Way of York Region will begin a speaker series featuring new ways of addressing and thinking about Youth homelessness in the GTA. In this Feb. 12 interview, CBC Metro Morning’s Matt Galloway talks to one of the speakers in the series, Mike Lethby, the executive director of Niagara Resource Service for Youth, which runs a program that tries to prevent young people from becoming homeless in the first place. Canada’s biggest influencers: Knowledge mobilization
David Phipps, executive director, Research & Innovation Services, which includes York University’s Knowledge Mobilization Unit (KMb), has been named the most influential knowledge broker in Canada, according to a report by Knowledge Mobilization Works, a consulting and training company based in Ottawa.
