The Brazilian Studies Seminar at York University will look at environmental education policies in Brazil Wednesday.
The seminar will take place March 13, from 12:30 to 2pm, at 626 York Research Tower, Keele campus. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event.

Daniel Fonseca de Andrade and Maria Castellano, both PhD candidates in environmental science at the University of Sao Paulo, will explore the history of environmental education public policies in Brazil over the last 15 years.
Their presentation will highlight the political context in which the national policy of environmental education was created, its structure, some of its principles and programs.

They will also provide an overview of the current context of environmental education public policies and how the laboratory of Education & Environmental Policy at the University of Sao Paulo is contributing to it in both a theoretical and a practical way.
