Campus Services and Business Operations is undertaking the development of a strategic master plan for York University’s food services. As part of this process, Porter Khouw Consulting, a university food service consultant, has been engaged to assist in examining the possibilities for enhancing York University’s food services.
Food Services and Porter Khouw Consulting are seeking participants for a number of focus groups that will be taking place from Oct. 7 to 9. Input from community members in this process is essential to ensure that the University’s broad range of dining needs and perspectives are captured. The information will be used to identify opportunities for dining services to enhance campus life.
Available focus groups are as follows:

Refreshments will be served. In addition, to show appreciation for the time offered to attend a focus group, all selected participants will receive a $20 YU-card Flex deposit. Up to 12 individuals will be selected to participate in each focus group session based on finding a balanced representation of community members.

Community members who are unable to participate in a focus group session will have an opportunity to complete an online survey later in October. The survey will be open to all students, faculty and staff.
