Sign up for York Sport & Recreation’s Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification course, the Standard First Aid and CPR-C re-certification course or the Emergency First Aid and CPR-B certification course.
The Standard First Aid and CPR certification course will be offered on Oct. 12 and 13, Nov. 9 and 10, Jan. 18 and 19, Feb. 1 and 2, and March 1 and 2, from 9am to 6pm, in Studio 6, Tait McKenzie Centre, Keele campus. The cost of the course is $100.
The 16-hour Lifesaving Society Standard First Aid course provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR. This course is for those who want an in-depth understanding of first aid. Successful candidates receive both Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification, Standard First Aid is recognized by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.
The Standard First Aid and CPR-C re-certification course will also be offered on Jan. 26 from 9am to 6pm, in Studio 6, Tait McKenzie Centre, Keele campus. The cost of the course is $70.
Course prerequisites: Full Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification course within three years through the Livesaving Society only. Past certification card must be brought into the course. Manuals are not provided.
The Emergency First Aid and CPR-B certification course will also be offered on Jan. 25 from 9am to 6pm, in Studio 6, Tait McKenzie Centre, Keele campus. The cost of the course is $75. The eight-hour Lifesaving Society Emergency First Aid course provides general knowledge of first aid principles and the emergency treatment of injuries.
Registration will take place at Client Services in the lobby of the Tait McKenzie Centre.
