A team of Schulich School of Business professors – Andrew Crane, Irene Henriques, Bryan Husted and Dirk Matten – have been appointed as co-editors of the scholarly journal, Business & Society, on a permanent basis.
Business & Society (BAS) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published quarterly as the official publication of the International Association of Business and Society, an independent professional association dedicated to business and society teaching and research.
BAS publishes original research related to business ethics, business-government relations, corporate governance, corporate social performance and environmental-management issues.
Crane is director of Schulich’s Centre of Excellence in Responsible Business, George R. Gardiner Professor of Business Ethics and Professor of Strategic Management and Leadership; Henriques is a professor of economics; Husted is Erivan K. Haub Chair in Business and Sustainability and professor of strategic management and policy; and Matten is Hewlett-Packard Chair in Corporate Social Responsibility and director of the Business Ethics Program.
Crane and Matten also write a popular blog on ethical business issues, the Crane and Matten blog billed as an informed and thought-provoking analysis of what lies behind the headlines and headaches of business ethics and corporate social responsibility.
