It’s time to arrange on-campus building access for the holiday break

York University will be closed for the holiday season from the end of day Monday, Dec. 23; reopening Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014.

Security is not permitted to provide access to buildings that are locked for the duration of the holiday break unless prior arrangements have been made. For any staff, faculty or students who require access during this closure period, e-mail requests to Andrew Little at  alittle@yorku.ca by Monday, Dec. 16.

A list of names that have been pre-authorized for holiday building access will be compiled and kept at the Security Control Centre, located at the northeast corner of the William Small Building. Only the people on the list will be permitted to sign out the entry keys/cards, and they will be required to provide photo identification. Keys/cards will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and must be signed out and returned to the Security Control Centre on the same day.
