As previously announced, substantial preventative and corrective maintenance and repair activities are required within the York Lanes and Arboretum Lane parking garages. To complete portions of the work while outdoor temperatures are within approved specifications for repair materials, and to minimize disruption for community members during the fall term, various items must be completed between Aug. 25 and Sept. 9.
The table below indicates when work will be conducted in each garage, along with the sections that will be closed during those times. With the exception of two time periods, approximately 75 per cent of each garage will remain open. Permit holders should not be affected while work is conducted. Daily clients will be directed to alternate parking lots by Parking Services staff as follows, if required to manage capacity:
- York Lanes Parking Garage (YLPG) alternate: Vanier Lane lot or Student Services Parking Garage
- Arboretum Lane Parking Garage (APG) alternate: Shoreham Drive, Thompson Road or Northwest Gate lots
