In commemoration of Black History Month, the Centre for Human Rights is holding a professional development workshop for members of the York community.
“Race & Ethnicity in the Workplace” will take place Tuesday, Feb. 24 at W133 Seymour Schulich Building, from noon to 1:30pm.
Racism still exists and can take many forms in an establishment, but what are those forms?
This workshop is geared towards those who wish to learn:
- How racism can manifest itself in the workplace;
- Understand the roles and responsibilities of employees and managers in preventing and responding to complaints of racism; and
- Develop strategies that address racism in a work environment.
