The Graduate Research Association of Students in Public Health (GRASP) will host a research symposium in April at York University on the integrative approaches to health.
The symposium will take place Thursday, April 9, from 10am to 4:30pm, at 320 Bethune College, Keele campus. Refreshments will be available. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The focus will be on showcasing York’s interdisciplinary spirit in exploring multiple dimensions in the study of health.
Some of the topics of discussion will include the following, the HIV/AIDS Social Movement in South Africa: The Changing role of the Treatment Action Campaign; Interest-Based Action: How Healthcare Can Embrace Environmentally Sustainable Change; and Neuropsychological Findings of Body Dysmorphic Disorder.
The York Institute for Health Research is collaborating with GRASP to host the symposium.
