Due to the installation of the new 750 kW emergency generator at the Scott Library, a 40-amp breaker needs to be installed in the existing control panel, resulting in a temporary electrical shutdown on Thursday, July 16, from 6 to 7am.
This work will be performed on the emergency power system and there is no long-term impact anticipated. In the event of a power failure, this work will prevent some of the emergency lights from working properly.
The following buildings will be monitored in the event of power disruptions:

- Curtis Lecture Halls
- York Lanes
- Stedman Lecture Halls
- Founders College
- Behavioural Science Building
- Vanier College
- McLaughlin College
- Winters College
- Tatham Hall
