Find out what it’s like to be a registered kinesiologist

Those interested in or on their way to becoming a registered kinesiologist will have an opportunity to explore options for after graduation at an event on campus, Oct. 15.

Presented by Graduate Research Association of Students in Public Health (GRASP),The Emerging Role of Registered Kinesiologists in Health Care will run from 10:30am to 12:30pm in Bethune College, room 203, and presents guest speaker Frederyck Franco.

Franco is a registered kinesiologist and certified physiologist at the Black Creek Community Health Centre, and is part of the Exercise Education program where he provides exercise therapy and health coaching.

He will lead this information session, where participants can learn what a registered kinesiologist is and how to become one; hear about a day in the life of a registered kinesiologist and the current status of the healthcare field; and ask questions that can be answered by a registered kinesiologist.

Franco is an alumnus of York University.
