The York Lions will host a fun and educational summer sports camps for youth ages six to 15 this July and August on the Keele campus.
A multisport summer camp will engage campers ages six to 12 with a wide range of summer fun. Weekly activities include a martial arts class, dance class and sport instructional sessions led by specialty instructors. Each camp will also experience age-specific arts and crafts, outdoor sports and swimming.
Young teenagers ages 13 to 15 can take the first steps toward becoming a camp leader by registering for the Pride Leaders in Training camp. Participants will develop exceptional communication, cooperation and leadership skills in a fun and inclusive environment. Each week will also include a martial arts class, performing arts class and sports instruction by specialty instructors.
The camps will run for six weeks (July 4 to Aug. 12), from 9am to 4pm on Monday to Friday, with early drop off and late pickup times available for parents.
