York University has just been notified that the City of Toronto has given approval to Enbridge Gas to complete utility work this week on The Pond Road (a city of Toronto road).
As a result, the westbound lane of The Pond Road from Keele Street to James Gilles Street will be closed from Tuesday, Nov. 1 to Friday, Nov. 4.
This utility work is for the construction of the Quad Student Housing Community development at the corner of Sentinel Road and The Pond Road, a project led by Forum – Campus Suites (FCS) and the York University Development Corporation (YUDC).
How will this impact the community?
- The westbound lane of Pond Road will be closed from Keele St to James Gilles, flag personnel will be on site directing traffic.
- When travelling through the immediate construction area, watch for and adhere to all traffic and pedestrian signage, as well as traffic control personnel assigned to the site.
