Pedestrian detour in place along Scholars Walk on the Keele campus

Excavation of a service tunnel connection to the new Student Centre on the Keele campus will have an impact on pedestrian traffic in the area. Specifically, the pedestrian route along Scholars Walk will be diverted starting on Nov. 5 and continuing until spring 2017.

How will this impact the community?

  • Pedestrian traffic north and south along the west side of the site will be diverted as indicated in the photograph. Signage will be in place.

When travelling through the immediate construction area, watch for and adhere to all traffic and pedestrian signage, as well as traffic control personnel assigned to the site.

Additional bulletins will be posted as the project progresses.
