After several years of renovations that involved both the upper and lower levels of the main Bookstore on the Keele campus, the Bookstore will celebrate its official re-opening with a ribbon cutting, discounts and more.
The University community is invited to attend the official re-opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony, which will take place on Friday, March 31 at 11am. Light refreshments will be served.
Speaking at the event will be York President Emerita Lorna Marsden, Gary Brewer, vice-president finance & administration, author and English Professor B.W. Powe and Founders College Master Mauro Buccheri, who is also a professor in the Department of Languages, Literatures & Linguistics in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies.
To celebrate, the Bookstore is offering 30 per cent off all general interest books, gifts, stationery and more. At 2pm, the Bookstore is hosting a book launch featuring a York author.
All are welcome.
