Do you plan events, conferences or meetings on for students, faculty or staff on campus? Are you responsible for sending out invitations for meetings and events? Do you coordinate lunches or arrange catering for meetings? Are you interested in learning more about planning events?
University Events & Ceremonies cordially invites all event coordinators, meeting conveners, invitation creators, conference planners and anyone wanting to learn more about planning events to the launch of the Event Planners’ Network (EPN) on March 25 from 12 to 1 p.m. in Room 280N, York Lanes.
Bring your lunch and join colleagues from across campus to learn about and discuss all things event-related. The EPN is open to all York University staff, whether event planning is officially part of your role or you’re just interested in learning more.
This first meeting will allow attendees to learn more about the EPN as well as hear about online event planning resources and tools. Future meetings will cover topics including catering, protocol, invitations and RSVP management, and AV and décor from both on-campus professionals as well as external experts.
If you are interested in attending, RSVP online. To learn more about the EPN, contact Liz McMahan, senior planner, Ceremonials & Events Operations, by email at lmcmahan@yorku.ca or ext. 55357.
