In collaboration with community organizations, York University’s Glendon Campus will recognize this year’s International Francophonie Day with a week-long program that celebrates the French language and diverse cultures of the international Francophone community. Events will kick off March 18 and will run until March 26.
March 20 is International Francophonie Day, and more than 274 million people representing every continent will celebrate their heritage. French is an official language in more than 30 countries around the world. This cultural mosaic, although invisible to some, is very much a part of the York University social fabric.
There will be a wide range of activities to satisfy all French language and culture enthusiasts in the community. Click on the title for each event for more information, and register using the RSVP links.
