York University’s Schulich School of Business has been rated one of the world’s top 100 master of business administration (MBA) programs for career outcomes in a new global ranking conducted by LinkedIn.
Schulich placed 87th overall, while Stanford ranked first overall, followed by INSEAD and Harvard, in the first-ever global MBA ranking published by LinkedIn, the world’s largest business and employment-focused social media platform.
The LinkedIn ranking uses the company’s own extensive platform data from over one billion members around the globe to rate the MBA programs that best set their alumni up for career success. The ranking, described as “the 100 best business schools around the world to help you get ahead in your career,” assessed full-time MBA programs on five key measures: job placement rates, career advancement, network growth and strength, leadership potential and gender diversity.
“Our ranking in LinkedIn’s global Top 100 underscores Schulich’s position as a world-class institution dedicated to producing innovative leaders who drive positive change across industries,” said Detlev Zwick, dean of the Schulich School of Business and the Tanna H. Schulich Chair in Digital Marketing Strategy. “This is a testament to the transformative education we provide.”
“At Schulich, we prioritize creating personalized career pathways for every student,” said Hollis Sinker, executive director of Schulich’s Centre for Career Design. “Through one-on-one coaching, industry mentorships and strategic career design, we ensure that our graduates not only meet but exceed the demands of today’s competitive job market.”
According to the ranking, Schulich alumni predominantly work in business development, finance, operations, sales and marketing. The top three cities where Schulich alumni work are Toronto, Vancouver and New York.
