Shabtai Donnenfeld, professor in York’s Department of Economics, Faculty of Arts since 1990, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 25, after a battle with cancer. He was 57. He is survived by his son, Avi. A service was held on Oct. 28 in New York City, where Avi resides. The Department of Economics is also making arrangements for a memorial seminar to celebrate Prof. Donnenfeld’s contribution.
