The Centre for Student Community & Leadership Development at York, in conjunction with the University’s Interfaith Council, invites members of the York community to come out and meet the “Faces of Faith” during Interfaith Council Day on Thursday, Nov. 24. The event runs from 10am to 3pm in the East Bear Pit, located in Central Square on York’s Keele campus.
York University stands out internationally because of its religious and cultural diversity, and the aim of Interfaith Council Day is to showcase the 31 recognized religious clubs at York University.
Each club will participate in an information fair with representatives present to answer any questions about their particular club. The information fair will be followed by an open forum in the Scott Religious Chapel from 3:30 to 5pm. The forum will consider the topic “Keeping the Faith on a Secular Campus”. Everyone is invited to attend.
