Schulich marketing professor wins Turkish book prize

Donald N. ThompsonDonald N. Thompson (right), Kraft Foods Chair in Marketing at York’s Schulich School of Business and Nabisco Brands Professor Emeritus, has won a prize for his book Marketing Management in Turkey (GaziKitabevi Press, 2005). The book, which was also published in Turkish (Türkiye’deki Pazarlama Vak’alari: Zorluklar ve Firsatlar) and Azerbaijani editions, was awarded the 2005 Marmara prize for Turkish business writing. Thompson has been living in Ankara while advising on the Turkish EU accession process and will receive the award at a ceremony in Istanbul in January.
