The Presidential Search Committee held its second meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 23. York President and Vice-Chancellor Lorna R. Marsden was invited to attend and share her views on the presidency of York and to answer the committee’s questions concerning the role and responsibilities of a president.
The committee has agreed on a framework and timetable for a broad and extensive community consultation process, the details of which shall shortly be finalized and then published. The committee also noted that as mandated by the “Principles to Govern a Presidential Search”, the York University Senate will also be engaging in a process for providing its advice to the committee.
