The York University community was shocked and saddened to learn of the shooting death of Chantel Dunn in an incident that happened Monday evening while she was driving in Toronto. Dunn was a second-year student in the Faculty of Arts.
“All of us at York are devastated to hear the news of this tragic event. Our thoughts are with Chantel’s family and friends, and we ask that people respect their privacy at this most challenging time,” said Rob Tiffin, vice-president students. “The police are conducting an investigation and we will offer whatever assistance we can.”
