York alumna Susan L. MacDonald (BA ’84), principal at Chester Le Jr. Public School in Scarborough, has been named one of 30 outstanding principals for 2006 by The Learning Partnership. MacDonald, who completed her undergraduate degree part-time at the Atkinson Faculty of Liberal & Professional Studies, has been principal at her school for the past five and half years. She said a business leadership course she took recently had a lot to do with her success. “I was fascinated by the way the [leaderhip] process worked,” she said.
