Experiential Education (EE)

Experiential education is the application of theory to a concrete experience, either within the classroom or within the community. Such experiences not only advance the learning outcomes of a course or program but they also require students to reflect upon their learning.

At York, our goal is to provide all students with an experiential learning opportunity, regardless of program. Read more about York's plans for 21st Century Learning in the York University Academic Plan. Contact eeyu@yorku.ca for more information about experiential education at York.
