Logging in to Webpost from a Macintosh
If you have a WEBPOST account, you can access your YorkInfo files as a Novell network
drive using using either a PC or a Macintosh. Here is the procedure for Macintosh users
who wish to login via Novell:
- Make the apple menu appear by holding the mouse button down on the apple in the top left
of your screen.
- Drag down and select Chooser, then release your mouse button.
- A window named "Chooser" will appear:
- In the bottom left box, scroll up or down until "CCS Internal Ethernet" is
visible. Click on CCS Internal Ethernet.
- In the top left box, click on the AppleShare icon.
- In the top right box, find the word WEBPOST, and click on it.
Then, click on "OK".
- A dialogue box will pop up:
- Type in your WEBPOST NAME, and type in your PASSWORD.
Then, click on "OK".
- Another dialogue box will appear:
- Click on MICROETTEST2.SYS
- Then, click on "OK"
- The "Chooser" window will be displayed again. Close it by clicking in the
little square in the upper left corner.
- An icon named "MICROETTEST2.SYS" will appear on your desktop:
- Double-click on it to access your directories and files. Once connected, you can edit
your WWW pages using any of your favourite HTML Tools.
