Who We Are

The CCRI is an interdisciplinary collaboration of universities and leading scholars including York’s Co-Team Leaders, Dr. Gordon Darroch (York) and Dr. Evelyn Ruppert (Open University (2012)), who have worked with diverse population databases for the past twenty-five years.

The project is supported by the Canada Foundation for Innovation, Ontario Innovation Trust, Harold Crabtree Foundation, IBM Canada, Statistics Canada, Library and Archives of Canada and other partners including York University, University of Toronto, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, Université Laval, Memorial University of Newfoundland, University of Victoria and University of Ottawa, which serves as the coordinating institution.
