Audience Analysis of FRIENDS

The survey was constructed by Daniel and myself, and it was dived into two separate sections. The first section of the survey asked for general information about the participants themselves, their viewing habits such as the number of hours they watch television a day, and their personal opinion on the role of television itself. The second section consisted of questions that dealt specifically with the show Friends, to study the attitudes of its viewers; whether they were interpreting the show, and if they did, how differently it was being interpreted.

We surveyed 17 people, both males and females. The surveys were distributed randomly to classmates and their friends. It turned out that the majority of the participants were students under the age of 25.
