Workshop Paper
(Submission Deadline: April 16, 2010)
For authors who submit their papers to any workshop, please submit through the WI-IAT 2010 Workshop Paper Submission page linked below.
Submission Guidelines
Paper submissions should be limited to a maximum of 8 pages in the IEEE 2-column format, and will have a peer review by the Program Committee on the basis of technical quality, relevance to the conference topics, originality, significance, and clarity. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings by the IEEE Computer Society Press. The corresponding-authors will be notified at all time, for the submission, notification, and confirmation on the attendance. Submitting a paper to the conference and workshops means that, if the paper is accepted, at least one author should attend the conference to present the paper and should then register to the conference with a regular fee.
A number of IAT 2010 papers will be selected for extension and revision to be included in "Web Intelligence and Agent Systems: An International Journal"(http://wi-consortium.org/html/journal.php) and in the Annual Review of Intelligent Informatics (http://www.worldscibooks.com/series/arii_series.shtml).
The best paper awards will be conferred at the conference on the authors of (1) the best research paper and (2) the best application paper. Application-oriented submissions will be considered for the best application paper award.
Each paper will be reviewed by at least 3 program committee members or external expert reviewers.
Original papers exploring new directions will receive especially careful and supportive reviews.
Papers that have already been accepted or are currently under review at other conferences or journals will not be considered for publication at IAT 2010.
All papers will be included in proceedings published by IEEE press, as well as publication in the IEEE digital library.
