Career Spotlight: Shayandeep Das, Senior Data Analyst & Researcher

Are you a Faculty of Health student curious about where your degree can take you? Career Spotlight is an opportunity where you can connect with Faculty of Health alumni and learn about their career. This session’s spotlight speaker is Shayandeep Das.

Shayandeep Das is a graduate of the Bachelor of Health Studies – Healthcare Management Program from the Faculty of Health at York University. He came to York University aged 17 as an international student and now, 5 years later, is currently working as a Data Analyst for the University Health Network and Toronto Grace Health Center, working with the senior management of several hospitals and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. As an undergraduate student, he served in several club leadership positions, including the International Relations Student Association, Friends of Doctors Without Borders at York, and the Student Association of Health, Management, Policy and Informatics. He was also a Leadership and Events Coordinator Assistant for the Student Community and Leadership Development at York. He will be joining Ivey business school and London School of Economics for a Masters’s in management with the CEMS designation starting 2023.
