There are stories about haircuts. Unrequested haircuts and giggling, crying and yelling. There are stories about Barbie, Icing out of the bucket and industrial strength cheesecakes. There are stories about blankets, pillows, comforters, beds with boxsprings that are too large, decripit mattresses from the 70's. There are stories about water heaters breaking. There are stories about Christmas mornings at 6 am. There are stories about boxes and moving trucks. There are stories about staleness of location and solitude. There are stories about paint choices, picture tests, and frozen tiles. There are stories about Nintendo in bed, belly rubs, and late night puzzles. There are stories about phonecalls that make you sick. There are stories about howling and cayote dens. There are stories about space that is too small. There are stories about whirltubs, bubbles, and paint crayons. There are stories about summers on the deck, lounging in the sun, sitting in front of fans. Jessica Didyk
