Common Plants participants in distant and distinct locations have been exploring home: is home where you are or is home where you come from? Is home a place? What is familiar and what is unrecognizable? As part of this Photobiography Workshop, each participant was given a disposable camera or used a digital camera and took photographs instigated by the following provocations. Each participant was encouraged to interpret the prompts and be as literal or as poetic, as documentative or as interpretive as they chose. The slide shows below demonstrate, consequently, multiple perspectives on and interpretations of “home” seen through the lens of each participant.
