Welcome!

GESSA is pleased to welcome you to its new web presence. The site hopes to enhance communication and information sharing between GESSA and the student body, particularly as a new batch of incoming students arrive in the fall.

A new WEB LOG has also been created to provide a running update of GESSA activities.

However, we still need to fill out many sections of the site and your contributions will be greatly appreciated.

These are the categories:

• STUDENT RESEARCH may include summaries and links to individual student research. You can showcase your work here.
  
  
• GRADUATE RESOURCES may include everything from campus offices to funding agencies, conferences, publications (for submissions), and courses in other faculties.
  
  
• COMMUNITY LINKS may include community and local environmental organizations as well as how to get involved and who to contact.
  
  
• HELPFUL TIPS are for students, usually just moving to Toronto, or navigating York bureaucracy.

As part of the testing phase, feedback about design and content is much appreciated. Please send comments (and additional content!) to gessa@yorku.ca.

Thanks in advance for your help in building the site. It's taking much longer than I ever thought even for a simple design, but with greater input, I think it'll will become a useful repository of information as well as living record of our graduate years together.
